  • A battery-operated candle
  • Old paintbrush
  • A tablespoon of nutmeg
  • A metal container to melt the wax

Making the Primitive Candle

You will start by taking the candles apart and painting the candle holder base in your preferred color. Give them time to dry.

You should then remove them from the heat and add some nutmeg. That nutmeg is responsible for adding a grungy texture and a brown color. Try to use the wax when warm.
